These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by Alaska Goldworks LLC (“Alaska Goldworks,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including any purchase you make through our Ecwid/Lightspeed Instant Site or in-store. By visiting the site, placing an order, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You must be (a) at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or (b) have parental consent to use this site and place orders.
We strive to display products, pricing, weights, gemstone sizes, and metal fineness accurately. Because natural gold nuggets vary in shape, hue, and weight, all measurements are approximate. Colors may appear differently on individual screens. We reserve the right to correct errors or update information at any time without prior notice, including after you submit an order.
Custom designs, engraving, made-to-order pieces, or special sourcing require a non-refundable deposit (typically 50 %). These items are final sale and cannot be returned or canceled once design approval is given. Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Standard Method (U.S. only). All orders ship via FedEx 2-Day®, fully insured for the purchase price of the items. A flat shipping fee of $25 will be added at checkout to help offset carrier and insurance costs.
International & Special-Destination Orders. We presently ship outside the United States only by special arrangement. If you would like an item sent abroad, please contact us at info@alaskagoldworks.com for a custom shipping quote; additional carrier, insurance, duty, or brokerage fees will apply.
Transfer of Risk. Title and risk of loss transfer to you when FedEx accepts the package. We are not liable for carrier delays or packages lost, stolen, or damaged after a carrier scan shows acceptance. Signature confirmation is required on every shipment to protect both parties.
Eligible in-stock merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the purchase date if unworn and in original condition, with tags and packaging. Returns of altered items, resized rings, custom or special orders, and gift cards are not accepted. Customers are responsible for return shipping and adequate insurance. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of inspection approval.
We stand behind the quality of our work and offer complimentary cleanings and inspections for life. Manufacturing-related defects will be repaired or replaced at no charge within 12 months of the purchase date. This warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear, accidents, misuse, or unauthorized repairs. Natural inclusions or variations in gemstones and nuggets are not considered defects.
All designs, photographs, logos, text, and other content on the site are the intellectual property of Alaska Goldworks LLC or our licensors and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission. Purchase of an item does not grant any license to duplicate the design for commercial purposes.
If you submit reviews, photos, or other material (“User Content”), you grant Alaska Goldworks LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in any media. You represent that you own or have permission to share such content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

Except as expressly stated in Section 7, the site and all goods and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alaska Goldworks LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or purchased products. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific item giving rise to the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Alaska Goldworks LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
These Terms and any dispute shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alaska without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of state or federal courts located in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. Before litigating, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes through informal negotiation or, if mutually agreed, mediation.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted to this page and, where appropriate, notified via email. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any product-specific policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alaska Goldworks LLC regarding the site and supersede all prior understandings.
